I developed a set of branding guidelines for Flyerbay, a local web service in the works which filters many relevant promotional sales into an easy-to-use system. the brand evolved around a friendly nautical theme, representing a ‘safe haven in a sea of deals.’ It needed to read simply, but I wanted to make the reference subtle, so I played with a number of implied shapes to allude to a sailboat in the negative space.

Developed to generate interest in ESP’s task management suite, this promotional video was developed to identify with universal ‘pain points’ experienced by growing oil & gas companies. The brand sets itself up as a contrast for streamlining project management. A locomotive was chosen as the vehicle for their message, identifying key 'pain points' that potentially throw projects off course.

This is the second mobile game currently under development by Snowpunch. The setting is loosely based on the War of the Spanish Succession, in which multiple factions jockey for the throne of the Spanish empire, and eventually all of Europe. Again I'm contributing styleguides, all in-game art assets, layouts, graphic design etc.

My favourite thing about designing logos is really digging into a uniquely thematic shape language for each project. I styled the tree in SteelTree Designs to reflect the serifs of the typeface, giving it a clean, elegant look as requested for a startup web solutions company. Kootenay Containers needed a firm but friendly approach that represented secure storage solutions. Art Bolt needed a strong, aggressive character to convey the energetic creativity of an online illustration resource community. Lastly, Rouge Makeup artistry was an evolution from a formal style centred on a rose requested by the client, to a kind of neo-vintage with a modern sensibility that implied the preciousness and beauty of a gemstone.
